A couple of days ago, we were watching Dunkirk, the movie about the WWII evacuation across the English Channel. As we saw another fighter line up to strafe to the beach, my son CJ said “They ought to be running toward him [the attacker].” He was right. That counterintuitive move would have saved life and limb. Before the pilot could position himself to fire, people could have been under him.
We too are in the line of fire. Running right at it is the only thing we haven’t tried. No other way has worked. Thank you for being with us.
